- Inventory and check-in report for a rented home (Ireland)For a landlord, letting agent and tenant in Ireland at the start of a tenancy. A room-by-room record of the home's condition, the furniture and appliances, meter readings, keys and smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, with a reference to dated photos, signed by both sides. It is the evidence the Residential Tenancies Board looks at if the deposit is disputed at the end. The tenant may add written comments within seven days; each side keeps a signed copy.
- Road accident record and exchange of details (Ireland)For a driver in Ireland after a collision: one place to write down the other driver's name, address, vehicle and insurer, the time and place, what happened, the damage and the witnesses, while the details are fresh. Each driver keeps their own record and sends it to their insurer. It is not an admission of fault, and it does not replace a driver's duties under section 106 of the Road Traffic Act 1961 — to stop, give your details and, where required, report the accident to An Garda Síochána. Many insurers also give a free European Accident Statement form.
- Invoice with VAT details (Ireland)For a sole trader, partnership or company in Ireland billing a customer. The invoice has a number in your series, the date, both parties, the goods or services, the total and the payment details. A VAT-registered business adds its VAT number, the date of supply, the rate and the VAT, as regulation 20 of the Value-Added Tax Regulations 2010 requires, and the customer's VAT number where needed; a business that is not registered leaves those lines empty. A PDF sent by email is fine.
- Check-out report and return of keys (Ireland)For a tenant and landlord or letting agent in Ireland at the end of a tenancy. It records who was present, the keys handed back, the final meter readings, the condition of each room compared with the check-in report, any point the tenant does not accept, and the tenant's new address for the deposit. Signing it confirms what it records but agrees no deduction from the deposit. If the tenant completes it alone, a copy with dated photos goes to the landlord the same day.
- Statutory declaration (Ireland)For anyone in Ireland asked by a bank, an insurer, an employer or a public body to confirm facts by statutory declaration — a lost document, a change of name, living together, an address. You write the facts in numbered paragraphs; the document adds the closing words and the attestation that the Statutory Declarations Act 1938 sets out, for the person who takes it to complete. You sign it in person before a commissioner for oaths, a notary public, a peace commissioner or a practising solicitor, with your passport or national identity card unless they know you. It cannot be signed electronically.
