Used car sale contract between private individuals (France)
Why it matches: You are selling your used car to a private buyer in France and want a written contract on top of the transfer certificate.
France · in French
For selling or buying a used car or motorbike between private persons in France. The official steps stay free and compulsory: the transfer certificate (Cerfa no. 15776*02), the seller's online declaration on the France Titres (ANTS) site within fifteen days, the crossed-out registration certificate. This contract comes on top of them: vehicle, mileage, price and payment, date and hour of handover, known defects, the hidden-defects warranty kept or limited (articles 1641 and 1643 of the French Civil Code), each side's steps. Signed in two originals. In French.
Private loan agreement between individuals (France)
Why it matches: Your parents are lending you money for a flat or a car and want everything in writing.
France · in French
For lending money to a relative or friend in France and keeping solid proof of it. The agreement, in French under French law, sets the amount, payment by bank transfer, a written interest rate or an interest-free loan, repayment in one sum or by monthly instalments, early repayment and what follows a late payment. It leaves the space where the borrower writes the sum in words and figures by hand (article 1376 of the French Civil Code) and recalls the tax declaration on form 2062 above €5,000. Print two copies, both signed by both parties.
Cohabitation agreement for an unmarried couple (France)
Why it matches: You bought furniture or a car together and want it clear who owns what.
France · in French
For an unmarried couple without a PACS who live together in France and want to set their own rules in writing, since the law provides almost none (article 515-8 of the French Civil Code): who owns the furniture and purchases, how rent and expenses are shared, what happens to the home and joint property on separation. A list of each partner's property can be attached. Signed by both partners, in two copies. It creates no right to inherit from the other.
