- Disputing an unauthorised card transaction (Moldova)For a cardholder in Moldova disputing with the bank a payment they did not authorise — a lost or stolen card, or card details used without the holder's knowledge — and asking for an immediate refund under art. 56 of Law no. 114/2012 on payment services and electronic money. The bank must be told as soon as possible, and within 13 months of the date the account was debited at the latest, and answers in writing within 15 working days of receiving the complaint. Block the card first, by phone or in the bank's app. It is handed in at a branch for registration, or sent by email or by registered post.
- Final demand for payment before court action (Moldova)The demand in which a creditor in Moldova asks the debtor, for the last time before going to court, to pay an overdue debt within 15 calendar days: the amount in figures and in words, what it is for and when it fell due, and late-payment interest under art. 942 of the Moldovan Civil Code. It announces an application for a court order (art. 345 of the Code of Civil Procedure) or a claim at the district court, and recalls the three-year limitation period. It is sent through Poșta Moldovei by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
- Loan agreement between private individuals (Moldova)The contract by which one private individual in Moldova lends money to another: the parties with their IDNP, the amount in figures and in words, when and how it is handed over, the repayment date and schedule, the agreed interest (at most twice the CHIBOR rate, art. 1244 of the Moldovan Civil Code) or 0%, and late-payment interest under art. 942. The Civil Code requires written form for acts between individuals worth more than 1,000 lei (art. 321). It is signed by hand in two copies; when cash changes hands, the borrower signs the receipt slip at the end.
- Complaint to a bank before the regulator (Moldova)The complaint in which a bank customer in Moldova disputes a fee, a payment, a blocked card or account or a loan term and asks for a solution: the product, the facts and the result sought. Under the National Commission for Financial Markets' regulation in force from 1 October 2026, the bank gives a reasoned answer within 15 working days; after that the customer may turn to the Commission (CNPF). It is handed in at a branch for registration or sent by registered post.
- Loan receipt and acknowledgement of debt (Moldova)The receipt in which a borrower in Moldova confirms having received a sum of money as a loan from a private individual, acknowledges the debt and undertakes to repay it: both parties with their IDNP, the amount in figures and in words, the date received, the repayment date and, where there is one, the schedule and the interest. The courts accept such a receipt as written proof of the loan. The borrower signs it, and the lender keeps the original.
