For spouses with minor children in Greece who have decided on a consensual divorce and want to write down together what they agreed about the children before going to their lawyers: parental care, residence, contact, maintenance, extra costs. It is a draft, not the agreement that ends the marriage. A consensual divorce in Greece needs a separate lawyer for each spouse and a notary's deed, at least ten days after the spouses' written agreement or joint digital declaration (art. 1441 of the Greek Civil Code); the lawyers draft the final text.

Common questions
- Can a consensual divorce be done in Greece without a lawyer?
- No. The marriage is dissolved by a written agreement or a joint digital declaration of the spouses, also signed by their lawyers, and a notary's deed at least ten days later (art. 1441 of the Greek Civil Code, as replaced by Law 4800/2021). Each spouse is represented by a separate lawyer, and the procedure can also run digitally through gov.gr, again with lawyers. This draft helps you reach the lawyers with the terms for the children already agreed.
- What must the agreement on the children cover in a Greek consensual divorce?
- Where there are minor children, the agreement settles how parental care is shared, in particular custody, where the children live, the parent they live with and their contact with the other parent, and it applies for at least two years (art. 1441 of the Greek Civil Code). Both parents must maintain the child, each according to their means (art. 1489). The draft covers these points and extra costs.
- What happens if the spouses in Greece do not agree about the children?
- Without an agreement on the minor children there is no consensual divorce. The divorce is then sought from the court, which also decides on parental care, contact and maintenance. This draft is useful only where there is agreement, and what binds for the divorce is the final agreement signed with the lawyers.

- Parent's consent for a minor to travel abroad (Greece)
gov.gr issues solemn declarations free; this document gives you the wording of the consent, in full in Greek and in English, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. With it the parent who is not travelling consents to their minor child travelling abroad with the other parent or another adult: the parent's, child's and companion's details, destination and dates. Consular guidance asks for it as a solemn declaration (υπεύθυνη δήλωση) with the signature authenticated and, abroad, in English too.
- Request for access to public documents (Greece)
The request by which anyone asks a Greek public service, municipality or public-law body to inspect or receive copies of specific documents. Since 1 January 2025, art. 5 of the Greek Code of Administrative Procedure, as replaced by art. 59 of Law 5143/2024, gives this right to every person with no interest to show, and the service answers within 20 days. The request names documents rather than asking questions, because a manifestly vague request needs no answer.
- General authorisation (power of attorney) (Greece)
gov.gr issues authorisations free; this document gives you the wording, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. With it someone in Greece entrusts a person they trust to act for them in everyday matters: at tax offices, citizen service centres, town halls, e-ΕΦΚΑ, banks and utilities. Under the Greek Civil Code an authority takes the form of the act it concerns (art. 217): real estate, and anything done before a notary, needs a notarial power of attorney (πληρεξούσιο), and the document says so.
- Special authorisation (power of attorney) for a specific act (Greece)
gov.gr issues authorisations free; this document gives you the wording, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. It covers one precisely described act in Greece — collecting a document, filing an application, signing a contract, receiving a payment — and sets the limits of the authority, whether the agent may appoint a substitute or deal with themselves, and until when it is valid. Under the Greek Civil Code an authority takes the form of the act (art. 217): selling real estate, or any act made by notarial deed, needs a notarial power of attorney.
- Parent's authorisation for a minor's medical care by a carer (Greece)
gov.gr issues solemn declarations and authorisations free; this document gives you the wording, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. With it a parent allows whoever looks after the child in their absence — a grandparent, a school-trip or camp leader — to take the child to the doctor, receive information and agree to routine medical care for a set period, with the child's health details. Under the Greek Code of Medical Ethics, consent for a minor is given by those with parental care.
- Handwritten will: a model to copy out by hand (Greece)
A model and guide for anyone who wants to write a handwritten (holographic) will in Greece. It is valid only if written entirely in the testator's own hand, dated with day, month and year and signed (art. 1721 of the Greek Civil Code): the printed sheet is not a will, even if signed. It contains instructions, the reserved share as it stands from 16 September 2026, and a text to copy onto blank paper. After the death, a notary publishes the will. The alternative is a public will made before a notary.
