Request for a certificate of employment (Greece)
The request in which an employee in Greece, when the contract ends, asks the employer for the certificate of employment under art. 678 of the Greek Civil Code, which serves as proof of previous service for a new employer. The certificate states the kind and length of the work, and the quality of the work and the employee's conduct only if the employee asks for that specifically — so the request lets you choose what it should state. One document does the work of both a certificate and a reference.
Administrative tax objection to the Dispute Resolution Directorate (Greece)
The objection (ενδικοφανής προσφυγή) against an act of Greece's tax authority, ΑΑΔΕ — a corrective tax assessment, a fine — which must be made before any court action, written as a complete document ready to upload to myAADE: the act, the amount contested, the grounds, the evidence and the request. Under art. 72 of Greek Law 5104/2024 it is filed within 30 days of notification (60 for residents abroad, August not counted), and the Dispute Resolution Directorate decides within 120 days. It includes the choice on suspending 50% and the request to suspend the rest.
Parental leave request (Greece)
The request in which a parent in Greece asks for parental leave under art. 28 of Law 4808/2021: the child, the dates and statements on the conditions. Each parent is entitled to four months until the child turns eight, after a year with the same employer, and DYPA, the public employment service, pays the first two months at the level of the minimum wage. It goes in at least a month ahead, asks for any refusal or postponement to be reasoned in writing, and asks the employer to file form E.14 in ERGANI II.
Request for access to public documents (Greece)
The request by which anyone asks a Greek public service, municipality or public-law body to inspect or receive copies of specific documents. Since 1 January 2025, art. 5 of the Greek Code of Administrative Procedure, as replaced by art. 59 of Law 5143/2024, gives this right to every person with no interest to show, and the service answers within 20 days. The request names documents rather than asking questions, because a manifestly vague request needs no answer.
Move-out record on returning a rented home (Greece)
The record a landlord and tenant in Greece sign when the lease ends and the home is handed back: its condition, damage beyond ordinary wear, meter readings, keys, and the settlement of the deposit — how much is kept, why, and when the rest is returned. The landlord's claims for damage lapse six months after taking the home back (Article 602 of the Greek Civil Code), so the record's date and contents carry real weight.
IKE partners' resolution appointing and removing the manager (Greece)
The minutes by which the partners of a Greek private company (IKE) appoint a new manager (diacheiristis) and, where needed, remove the previous one: the manager's details with father's name and AFM, term, pay, any special rules on their powers, the signature accepting the role and authority to file with GEMI. The manager must be an individual, partner or not, and is appointed by a majority of all the shares, at a meeting called on 8 days' notice or in minutes signed by every partner.
Revocation of an authorisation or power of attorney (Greece)
The out-of-court notice (εξώδικη δήλωση) by which someone in Greece revokes an authorisation or power of attorney they gave: it describes the authority, revokes it from service, asks for the original back and an account, and names the third parties being told. Under the Greek Civil Code the authority ends on a revocation declared to the agent or the third party (arts. 218–219), so proof matters: a court bailiff (δικαστικός επιμελητής) serves it, and the report of service proves content and date. A notarial power of attorney is revoked only by notarial deed (art. 220); the notice is then served together with the notary's deed.
Notice closing a bank account (Greece)
The letter by which an account holder in Greece closes the account and ends the framework agreement with the bank: the account, the closing date, the account to receive the balance, cancelling cards, standing orders and direct debits, a pro-rata refund of fees paid in advance, and written confirmation. It rests on Law 4537/2018, which transposed the EU Payment Services Directive; the letter asks for closing on the date chosen or when the notice period in the contract ends, if that is later.
Unpaid leave agreement (Greece)
The agreement by which a Greek employer and employee set up unpaid leave: the period, the return date, the suspension of work and pay while the employment contract continues, and the return to the same job. In Greece such leave is granted only by an individual written agreement, for up to a year (art. 62 of Law 4808/2021) — the employer is not obliged to grant it — and the agreement must be filed in ERGANI II before the leave starts. That is why it is a document for both to sign, not a mere request.
Move-in handover record and inventory for a rented home (Greece)
The record a landlord and tenant in Greece sign when the home is handed over: the condition of each room, an inventory of furniture and equipment, the electricity, water, gas and heating meter readings, the keys, and any defects already there. It is attached to the lease and is the main proof of the starting condition: the home is compared with it at move-out to decide what is ordinary wear and what may be kept from the deposit.
Report to Greece's consumer protection authority for mediation
The written report asking Greece's Independent Authority for Market Control and Consumer Protection to mediate in a consumer's dispute with a business. The Authority was set up by Law 5255/2025 and absorbed the Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή). The report gives the consumer's and the business's details, what happened, what was already done to settle it and what is asked for, states that no court case is pending, and is signed and sent with a copy of an ID, as the Ombudsman required.
Extrajudicial demand for payment between businesses (Greece)
The extrajudicial statement (exodiki dilosi) by which a business demands that another pay overdue invoices: the basis of the debt, the invoices, the principal, late-payment interest, the €40 for recovery costs, a deadline and the account to pay into. A court bailiff serves it, and the bailiff's report of service proves its content and date. Under Greek Law 4152/2013 the interest (reference rate plus 8 points) and €40 per invoice are due without any demand, even where no payment date was set; the notice sets a final deadline and proves the claim was made.
Invitation as a solemn declaration of hospitality (Greece)
The text in which someone living in Greece invites and hosts a person applying for a visa at a Greek consulate. Consulates accept it only as a solemn declaration (ypefthyni dilosi) under Law 1599/1986, with the host's signature authenticated or issued on gov.gr, and with the details they ask for: both people's names, addresses, dates of birth, passport numbers and occupations, the purpose, the dates, and the costs the host covers, which the host chooses. The gov.gr declaration is free: paste this text into it, or sign the PDF and certify the signature at a KEP or on docs.gov.gr.
IKE partners' resolution moving the seat to another municipality (Greece)
The minutes by which the partners of a Greek private company (IKE) move its seat to another municipality and amend the article of the articles of association that names it: the new municipality and address, the right to use the premises, the article's new wording, the vote and authority to file with GEMI, the Greek business register. The amendment needs 2/3 of all shares and is decided at a meeting called on 8 days' notice, or without a meeting only if every partner signs. A new address in the same municipality needs no amendment unless the articles give the street and number.
Special authorisation for a specific act (Greece)
gov.gr issues authorisations free; this document gives you the wording, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. It covers one precisely described act in Greece — collecting a document, filing an application, signing a contract, receiving a payment — and sets the limits of the authority, whether the agent may appoint a substitute or deal with themselves, and until when it is valid. Under the Greek Civil Code an authority takes the form of the act (art. 217): selling real estate, or any act made by notarial deed, needs a notarial power of attorney.
Annual leave request (Greece)
The request in which an employee in Greece asks for paid annual leave (Greek Labour Law Code, Presidential Decree 62/2025): the dates, the working days, the year, whether all of the leave or a part of it is asked for, and who covers the work, with room for the employer's answer. From 1 January 2026 leave may be split into more than two parts only at the employee's written request, and this request serves as one; the employer records the leave in ERGANI II afterwards, within the following month.
Rent adjustment agreement for a residential lease (Greece)
The agreement by which a landlord and tenant in Greece change the rent under an existing residential lease. Greek rent cannot be raised unilaterally: it moves only as the lease's adjustment clause provides or by a new agreement. This one sets the new rent and the date it applies from, confirms that the other terms stand, and obliges the landlord to file an amending declaration with the tax authority (ΑΑΔΕ) by the end of the following month.
Out-of-court settlement agreement (Greece)
A Greek private agreement in which two parties end or prevent a dispute through mutual concessions (art. 871 of the Greek Civil Code): what the dispute is about, what each accepts, who pays whom, how much and by when, and which claims are extinguished. No notary is needed unless it creates or transfers a right in land. With a certain sum, a fixed payment date and both signatures, it is the document a payment order is sought on if the settlement is not honoured.
Handover record for an item left for repair (Greece)
The record that customer and repairer sign in Greece when a phone, a computer, a bicycle or an appliance is left for repair: the item and its serial number, the accessories, the fault reported, its visible condition, the estimated cost and time. A repair is a contract for work under the Greek Civil Code (art. 681): the repairer owes the result, and the record says what that result is and that any work beyond the estimate needs the customer's consent. At the end it has room for collection after the repair.
Agreement ending an employment contract by mutual consent (Greece)
The agreement by which a Greek employer and employee end the employment contract together on a date they choose: the last working day, the final settlement of pay, leave and bonuses, a lump sum if one is agreed, the return of equipment and the certificate of employment. No statute governs it: no form, reason or compensation is required, only a clear shared will — and the written agreement is what proves it when the end is declared in ERGANI II.
Withdrawal from or termination of a gym contract (Greece)
An out-of-court notice (εξώδικη δήλωση) by which a consumer leaves a gym under the special rules of Greek ministerial decision Ζ1-1262/2007: withdrawal within 30 days of receiving the contract, or termination at any time. It asks for the money for the unused part of the programme back within 30 days — on termination after the first 30 days the gym may keep at most 2.5%, and only if the contract says so — and stops recurring charges. A court bailiff serves it, so the date is proven. A generic 'cancel with notice' letter would give all of this away.
General authorisation (Greece)
gov.gr issues authorisations free; this document gives you the wording, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. With it someone in Greece entrusts a person they trust to act for them in everyday matters: at tax offices, citizen service centres, town halls, e-ΕΦΚΑ, banks and utilities. Under the Greek Civil Code an authority takes the form of the act it concerns (art. 217): real estate, and anything done before a notary, needs a notarial power of attorney (πληρεξούσιο), and the document says so.
Out-of-court demand for payment (Greece)
The Greek εξώδικη δήλωση (out-of-court notice) in which a creditor calls on a debtor to pay an overdue debt — a loan, a price, a fee — within a deadline, with the sum, its cause, the document proving it and the account to pay into. A court bailiff serves it, and the bailiff's report of service proves what was said and when. Service puts the debtor in default (art. 340 of the Greek Civil Code) unless a fixed payment day already did, and announces the payment order, which since 1 May 2026 a lawyer issues on a document proving the claim.
Handover record for a sold vehicle (Greece)
The record of the moment the buyer took the car: date and hour, odometer reading, fuel, keys, documents, accessories and condition. In Greece it matters more than elsewhere: handover can come days before the digital transfer on gov.gr, the transfer records no handover at all, and until it is done the seller remains the registered owner — and the one fines are sent to. The record proves who had the vehicle, and from when fines and damage are the buyer's — and handover starts the 30 days after which the seller's insurance ends.
