Request this documentNotice to the insurer of a vehicle transfer and claim for unearned premium (Greece)
Why it matches: Your insurer still has not returned the unused part of the premium after you sold the car.
Greece · in Greek · for sellers
The seller's letter to their motor insurer in Greece after the car's digital transfer. A Greek policy neither passes to the buyer nor needs cancelling: it lapses by law 30 days after ownership or possession of the car passes (art. 8(2) of Presidential Decree 237/1986), and the insurer must return the unearned premium for the rest of the period. The letter identifies the policy and the vehicle, gives the dates of handover and transfer with the gov.gr certificate, and asks for the refund to an IBAN and for written confirmation of when cover ended.
Motor accident claim to an insurer (Cyprus)
Why it matches: Another driver hit your car in Cyprus and you want their insurer to pay for the damage.
Cyprus · in Greek
A written claim by which someone harmed in a road accident in Cyprus asks for compensation directly from the at-fault vehicle's insurer, or from the Motor Insurers' Fund where that vehicle was uninsured or untraced. It describes the accident, both vehicles, the damage and the amount, asks for a claim number, a reasoned offer or reply, an inspection of the vehicle and payment to an IBAN, and reserves the right to go to court. It is sent by registered post or delivered against a signature; to the Fund it goes with the Fund's own claim form.
Cancelling a standing order or direct debit (Cyprus)
Cyprus · in Greek · for consumers
A written cancellation, sent to a bank in Cyprus, of a standing order or a direct debit from your account. It names the account, the payee and the mandate or reference number, asks that nothing be debited from the date you set and that the cancellation be confirmed in writing, and is copied to the payee, because a direct debit mandate is cancelled with the payee too. An authorised direct debit can be refunded if asked within 8 weeks, and an unauthorised one within 13 months.
