Acknowledgement of debt (Spain)
For someone in Spain who owes money to a private person or a company and acknowledges it in writing, or for the lender who wants that paper signed. The debtor, identified by their DNI or NIE, acknowledges the amount in words and figures and where it comes from, and undertakes to pay it in one sum, by bank transfer, by a set date. The acknowledgement interrupts limitation, and the five-year period starts again (articles 1964 and 1973 of the Spanish Civil Code). The debtor signs it and hands the original to the creditor. In Spanish.
Personal invitation letter and accommodation undertaking (Spain)
The official invitation letter (carta de invitación) is applied for in person by the host at the police station where they live, paying the fee on form 790 code 012 (Spanish Order PRE/1283/2007); DocMuse does not sell it. This Spanish document, in Spanish, only accompanies it: the host's personal letter to the Spanish embassy or consulate, with the relationship, purpose and dates of the visit, the home and the costs the host covers. It does not replace the official letter. Sign it and send it to the guest, who files it with the visa application.
Acknowledgement of debt with a payment plan (Spain)
For someone in Spain who owes money and agrees with the creditor to pay it in instalments. The debtor acknowledges the amount in words and figures and where it comes from; both parties set the number of monthly instalments, their amount, the first date and the payment day, and how many missed instalments let the creditor claim the whole balance. The acknowledgement interrupts limitation (article 1973 of the Spanish Civil Code). The debtor signs, and so does the creditor, who accepts the plan; each keeps a copy. In Spanish.
Responsible declaration of household and financial dependants (Spain)
If the body publishes its own free declaration model, use that one; you do not need DocMuse. The padrón certificate showing everyone at the address is issued by your town hall. This Spanish document, in Spanish, is for anyone who must state to a Spanish public body, school or social service who lives with them and, where relevant, who depends on them financially: it names the people, the date since when they have lived together and the undertaking of art. 69 of Spanish Law 39/2015. It is handed in with the application.
Advance healthcare directive (Spain)
For anyone who wants to set down their values and decisions about the treatments they accept or refuse, in case they cannot express them one day, and to name a representative to the healthcare team. Each Spanish autonomous community regulates this document and has its own registry and often a free model: if there is one, you may use it. It is sold blank and filled in by hand, because it holds health data. It is formalised before a notary, witnesses or the registry, as your community allows, and entered in the regional registry. In Spanish.
Generic responsible declaration to a public body (Spain)
For anyone who must declare to a town hall, an autonomous community or a State body that they meet the requirements of a procedure and hold the supporting documents. Many Spanish administrations publish their own model, free in their electronic office: if one exists, use it. This model follows article 69 of Spain’s Common Administrative Procedure Act (Ley 39/2015). It is filed online, at a registry office or at a Correos post office; companies must file electronically. Before a body with a co-official language, that language may also be used. In Spanish.
