- Withdrawal notice for a distance or off-premises contract (Moldova)For a consumer in Moldova who bought goods or a service online, by phone or away from the trader's premises and has changed their mind. The notice withdraws from the contract within the 14-day period under articles 1059 and 1060 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova (no. 1107/2002), with no reason needed, and asks for a refund within 14 days. The standard form in Annex 6 to Law no. 1125/2002 implementing the Civil Code, or the trader's own online form, does the same job free. Send it through Poșta Moldovei by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, or by email where accepted, and keep proof of sending.
- Tenant's notice to end a lease (Moldova)The notice by which the tenant of a home in Moldova tells the landlord they are leaving: with the three months' statutory notice on an open-ended lease (art. 1281 of the Civil Code), with the notice in the lease, without notice where the home endangers health, or at the end of the term so that it is not tacitly extended. The Civil Code's term for it is rezoluțiune. It sets the hand-back date and asks for the deposit back. Sent by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt.
- Complaint and termination of a phone or internet contract (Moldova)The notice in which a subscriber in Moldova ends a phone, internet or television contract with the provider and, where needed, complains about the service: the contract, the service, the end date, the reasons and the equipment to return. The contract ends on the chosen date or when the contract's own notice runs out, if that is later. If the provider does not resolve the complaint, the next step is ARCOM, the communications regulator. It is handed in for registration or sent by registered post.
- Final demand for payment before court action (Moldova)The demand in which a creditor in Moldova asks the debtor, for the last time before going to court, to pay an overdue debt within 15 calendar days: the amount in figures and in words, what it is for and when it fell due, and late-payment interest under art. 942 of the Moldovan Civil Code. It announces an application for a court order (art. 345 of the Code of Civil Procedure) or a claim at the district court, and recalls the three-year limitation period. It is sent through Poșta Moldovei by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
- Resignation letter (Moldova)The written request by which an employee in Moldova resigns, under the Moldovan Labour Code. A resignation needs neither the employer's consent nor a reason: notice is 14 calendar days, counted from the day after the request is registered, or one month for the head of the unit, the deputies and the chief accountant (art. 85). The letter can also propose ending earlier by written agreement. It is handed in for registration or sent by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt.
- Payment demand between businesses (Moldova)The demand by which a Moldovan company or individual entrepreneur asks a business customer to pay overdue invoices within the time it sets. It claims the principal, in figures and in words, the late-payment interest of art. 942 of the Moldovan Civil Code — the National Bank's base rate plus 9 points a year — and the minimum compensation for recovery costs (art. 945), then announces a court order (ordonanță judecătorească, art. 345 of the Civil Procedure Code) or a claim at the local court. It is sent by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt.
- Letter demanding the return of a rental deposit (Moldova)The letter by which a former tenant of a home in Moldova asks the landlord for the deposit back after handing back the home and the keys. It states the amount, the account and a 15-day deadline, disputes unjustified deductions — a tenant does not answer for normal wear (art. 1265 of the Civil Code) — and gives notice of a court order or a claim, with late-payment interest. Sent by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt.
- Demand to an employer for unpaid wages (Moldova)The written demand by which an employee or former employee asks an employer in Moldova for wages and other sums not paid on time, month by month, by a set date. It cites the extra 0.3% a day the Moldovan Labour Code adds when the delay is the employer's fault (art. 330) and the three years a court claim has (art. 355). It is handed in for registration or sent by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt, and proves that payment was asked for before a petition to the State Labour Inspectorate.
