- Special power of attorney (Romania)The power of attorney for one specific act in Romania: collecting a document, representing someone at an office, signing a contract, receiving a payment. It describes the act exactly, the limits of the authority, whether the agent may deal with themselves or appoint a substitute, and until when it is valid. For acts that need notarial form — selling a home, for example — the power of attorney must be notarial too.
- Resolution appointing an SRL's administrator (Romania)The resolution of the sole member or the general meeting by which a Romanian SRL appoints its administrator: who, for how long, with what powers and pay, and, where there is one, whose mandate ends. It calls for the appointee's declaration of acceptance and eligibility, and empowers someone to file with the trade register, from which point the appointment binds third parties.
- Payment summons between businesses (Romania)The summons in which one Romanian company demands overdue invoices from another, written as the step a payment order requires (art. 1015 of the Code of Civil Procedure): 15 days to pay, sent by bailiff or registered post with declared contents and acknowledgment of receipt. It claims the debt, late-payment interest at the central bank's reference rate plus 8 points, and the recovery-cost compensation of Law no. 72/2013.
- Authorisation to drive and use a vehicle (Romania)The authorisation by which a vehicle's owner in Romania lets someone else drive and use it for a set period and area — a trip abroad, a family member, an employee. It says what the authorised driver may do, what they may not — sell or hire out the vehicle — and who answers for fines. For leaving the country it is often required with a notarised signature.
- Complaint to an electricity or gas supplier (Romania)The written complaint to a Romanian electricity or gas supplier, with everything it needs to settle it: the customer code, the supply point, the meter's number and actual reading, the disputed bill and its period, what is wrong and what is asked for. It asks for an answer within the time set by ANRE's performance standard and names the next step — a complaint to ANRE. Water is a separate regime and is not covered.
- Handover record for a sold vehicle (Romania)The record that goes with a vehicle sale contract in Romania and notes what was actually handed over: the date and hour, the odometer reading, the keys, the documents and the vehicle's condition, with the defects the buyer was told of. The hour matters: until the vehicle is registered in the buyer's name, fines reach the seller, and the record shows who was driving.
- Claim against the at-fault driver's motor insurer (Romania)The claim in which someone who suffered loss in a road accident in Romania asks for compensation directly from the RCA insurer of the vehicle at fault, without going through its driver (Law no. 132/2017): the date, place and course of the accident, the at-fault policy, the damaged vehicle and the loss, the documents attached and the account for payment.
- Complaint about a faulty product (Romania)The complaint in which a consumer in Romania asks the seller to repair or replace faulty goods, under Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021: the product, the date and price of purchase, what is wrong and when it appeared, and the remedy asked for. It points out that the goods must be brought into conformity free of charge within 15 calendar days at most, and what follows if they are not.
- Withdrawal form for an online or distance purchase (Romania)The notice by which a consumer in Romania withdraws from an online, phone or off-premises purchase within 14 days — 30 if the contract was made during an unsolicited visit to the home or on an excursion organised by the trader — without giving a reason (Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014). It identifies the product and the order, asks for every payment — standard delivery included — to be refunded within 14 days to the account given, and announces the return of the goods. It follows the content of the model in the ordinance's annex.
- Open-ended home rental agreement (Romania)A Romanian residential tenancy between private individuals with no end date: rent, deposit, utilities, each side's obligations and a handover record. Either side may end it with at least 60 days' written notice, and the rent changes only by a signed addendum. It provides for registration with ANAF within 30 days (form C168), which makes it an enforcement title for the rent.
- Record of equipment left for repair (Romania)The record made when a phone, laptop or appliance is left at a repair shop in Romania: the product and serial number, the accessories handed over, the fault reported, its visible condition, and the estimated cost and time. It says any work above the estimate needs the customer's prior agreement and that a product under warranty is repaired free. On collection, it shows what was handed in and in what state.
- Cohabitation agreement between partners (Romania)The written agreement between two partners in Romania who live together without being married: the legal title to the home, how costs are shared, what belongs to each, how things bought together are divided, and how long they have to settle up after separating. Romanian law has no registered partnership, so without such an agreement none of this is written down anywhere.
- Resolution moving an SRL's registered office (Romania)The resolution of the sole member or the general meeting by which a Romanian SRL moves its registered office. The office is written into the articles, so moving it amends them and is the members' decision, not the administrator's. The document approves the new address, states the right to use the premises, amends the articles and empowers someone for the trade register filing.
- Services agreement (Romania)The agreement by which a provider — a company or a registered sole trader — performs services for a client in Romania: what is and is not included, the term, the price and payment term, invoicing through RO e-Factura, acceptance and objections, the liability cap, force majeure and termination. Under the Romanian Civil Code a services contract is an antrepriză (art. 1851), and the agreement fills in what the law leaves to the parties.
- Unpaid leave request (Romania)The request for unpaid leave to deal with personal matters (art. 153 of the Romanian Labour Code): the dates and the reason. The leave is granted with the employer's agreement, and during it the employment contract is suspended — no salary and no contributions are paid. The maximum length is set by the collective agreement or the internal rules.
- Fixed-term employment contract (Romania)A Romanian fixed-term employment contract on the same framework model, with what sets it apart: the end date, the reason for the fixed term — one of the closed list of cases in art. 83 of the Labour Code — and the shorter probation art. 85 allows. It cannot run for more than 36 months, and the same parties may sign at most three such contracts in succession.
- Rent change addendum to a rental agreement (Romania)The addendum by which a landlord and tenant change the rent under an existing Romanian tenancy. The rent cannot be raised unilaterally: the new amount, the date it applies from and the confirmation that the rest of the agreement stands are signed by both. The landlord registers the change with ANAF within 30 days on form C168.
- Move-in handover record for a rented home (Romania)The record made at move-in, when the landlord hands a Romanian rented home to the tenant: the condition of each room, the furnishings handed over, the electricity, gas, water and heating meter readings, the number of keys and any visible defects. It is an annex to the rental agreement and the main proof of the home's condition at the start — the one that decides, at move-out, what may be kept from the deposit.
- Landlord's notice ending a rental agreement (Romania)The notice by which a landlord ends a Romanian residential tenancy. An open-ended agreement can be ended with at least 60 days' notice; a fixed-term one only if the agreement allows it, and only for the housing needs of the landlord or their family. The notice states the reason, the end date and how the home and keys are to be handed back.
- Request to close a bank account (Romania)The request by which an account holder in Romania closes a current account and ends the framework agreement with the bank: the account, the closing date, the cards attached, the account to receive the balance, and the cancellation of standing orders and direct debits. The agreement can be ended at any time with at most 30 days' notice, and closing is free at the latest once the account is 6 months old (Law no. 209/2019).
- Acknowledgment of debt (Romania)The statement in which a debtor in Romania acknowledges in writing owing a sum to a creditor: how much, for what, when it falls due and on what schedule it is paid. The acknowledgment interrupts limitation, and a new period starts after it (arts. 2537 and 2541 of the Civil Code); notarised, it becomes an enforcement title.
- Notice to the motor insurer that a vehicle has been sold (Romania)The notice in which a seller tells their motor (RCA) insurer in Romania that the vehicle has been sold. A Romanian RCA policy does not pass to the buyer: the seller's contract ends on notification, and the premium for the remaining period is refunded if no compensation has been paid or is owed under the policy. The letter identifies the policy and the vehicle, gives the date of sale and the new owner, and asks for the refund to the account given.
- Administrator's declaration of acceptance and eligibility (Romania)The declaration on their own responsibility by the person appointed administrator of a Romanian company: they accept the mandate, meet the legal conditions, have not been banned by a final court judgment from being a company founder — a ban that, under Law no. 31/1990, also bars them from being an administrator — and have no conflicting role. The trade register asks for it at every appointment, and a false declaration is a criminal offence (art. 326 of the Criminal Code).
- Annual leave request (Romania)The request in which an employee in Romania asks to take annual leave: the dates, the number of working days, the year it belongs to and the colleague covering the duties. It ends with a space for the employer's approval. Annual leave is at least 20 working days, and holiday pay is paid before the leave begins.
