The PDF you download is in Italian — that is the language it has to be filed in, so it is not translated. Everything on this page is here to tell you what it says.

For the sole director or board of an Italian S.r.l. whose articles name only the municipality (Comune) as its seat: the decision in Italian moving the registered office to a new address in the same Comune, without a notary (art. 111-ter of the implementing provisions of the Italian Civil Code), with the effective date and the instruction to file the statement with the Companies Register through the digitally signed Comunicazione unica. If the articles give the full address, or the office moves to another Comune, the articles must be amended before a notary, which this document does not cover.

Common questions

Is a notary needed to move an Italian S.r.l.'s office within the same municipality?
No, if the articles name only the municipality as the seat: the change of address is decided by the board or sole director and declared to the Companies Register (art. 111-ter of the implementing provisions of the Civil Code), without amending the articles. A notary is needed if the articles give the street and number, or if the office moves to another municipality: then the articles are amended by a members' resolution in notarial form. The document first asks you to check what the articles say.
When must an Italian company's new address be filed with the Companies Register?
Within thirty days of the decision, through the Comunicazione unica digitally signed by the director, which also passes the change to the Agenzia delle Entrate, INPS and INAIL. The Chamber of Commerce asks for its forms, not the decision itself, which stays in the company's records. The document proves who decided and when; the filing is made on the Chamber of Commerce portal, in person or through an authorised intermediary.
Who decides the move if an Italian company's articles reserve it to the members?
If the articles reserve to the members even a move within the municipality, the members' meeting decides with the majorities set, and this document should not be used: minutes of a members' meeting are needed. Without such a clause the decision belongs to the management body, meaning the sole director or the board by majority. In companies with several directors acting jointly or severally, the decision follows the articles' rules on management.
