Request for access to public documents (Greece)
The request by which anyone asks a Greek public service, municipality or public-law body to inspect or receive copies of specific documents. Since 1 January 2025, art. 5 of the Greek Code of Administrative Procedure, as replaced by art. 59 of Law 5143/2024, gives this right to every person with no interest to show, and the service answers within 20 days. The request names documents rather than asking questions, because a manifestly vague request needs no answer.
Revocation of an authorisation or power of attorney (Greece)
The out-of-court notice (εξώδικη δήλωση) by which someone in Greece revokes an authorisation or power of attorney they gave: it describes the authority, revokes it from service, asks for the original back and an account, and names the third parties being told. Under the Greek Civil Code the authority ends on a revocation declared to the agent or the third party (arts. 218–219), so proof matters: a court bailiff (δικαστικός επιμελητής) serves it, and the report of service proves content and date. A notarial power of attorney is revoked only by notarial deed (art. 220); the notice is then served together with the notary's deed.
Invitation as a solemn declaration of hospitality (Greece)
The text in which someone living in Greece invites and hosts a person applying for a visa at a Greek consulate. Consulates accept it only as a solemn declaration (ypefthyni dilosi) under Law 1599/1986, with the host's signature authenticated or issued on gov.gr, and with the details they ask for: both people's names, addresses, dates of birth, passport numbers and occupations, the purpose, the dates, and the costs the host covers, which the host chooses. The gov.gr declaration is free: paste this text into it, or sign the PDF and certify the signature at a KEP or on docs.gov.gr.
Special authorisation for a specific act (Greece)
gov.gr issues authorisations free; this document gives you the wording, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. It covers one precisely described act in Greece — collecting a document, filing an application, signing a contract, receiving a payment — and sets the limits of the authority, whether the agent may appoint a substitute or deal with themselves, and until when it is valid. Under the Greek Civil Code an authority takes the form of the act (art. 217): selling real estate, or any act made by notarial deed, needs a notarial power of attorney.
General authorisation (Greece)
gov.gr issues authorisations free; this document gives you the wording, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. With it someone in Greece entrusts a person they trust to act for them in everyday matters: at tax offices, citizen service centres, town halls, e-ΕΦΚΑ, banks and utilities. Under the Greek Civil Code an authority takes the form of the act it concerns (art. 217): real estate, and anything done before a notary, needs a notarial power of attorney (πληρεξούσιο), and the document says so.
Parent's consent for a minor to travel abroad (Greece)
gov.gr issues solemn declarations free; this document gives you the wording of the consent, in full in Greek and in English, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. With it the parent who is not travelling consents to their minor child travelling abroad with the other parent or another adult: the parent's, child's and companion's details, destination and dates. Consular guidance asks for it as a solemn declaration (υπεύθυνη δήλωση) with the signature authenticated and, abroad, in English too.
