Owner's consent for address registration (Bulgaria)
Why it matches: Your address registration was handed back at the counter because the owner’s consent was missing.
Bulgaria · in Bulgarian
When you register at an address that is not yours, the municipality asks for the owner's written consent. This is that document. It goes in together with the application for a permanent or current address, and without it the counter returns the whole file. If the owner will not be coming to the counter in person with their ID card, the signature has to be notarised — which is why most people end up going twice.
Record of handover of a rented home (Italy)
Italy · in Italian
For landlord and tenant in Italy at the start of a lease: the record both sign describing the home at handover — meter readings, keys handed over, the state of each room, furniture and appliances, attached photos and remarks. It is the agreed description that art. 1590 of the Italian Civil Code refers to: at the end of the lease the home is returned in the state described, except for normal wear. Made in two copies, one for each party, and attached to the lease. In Italian.
Fixed-term residential lease under § 575 BGB (Germany)
Germany · in German
A fixed-term lease of a flat in Germany (Zeitmietvertrag), for the one case German law allows it: the landlord means to live there or house family there afterwards, to demolish or substantially rebuild the flat, or to let it as staff housing, and states that reason concretely in writing at signing, as § 575 of the German Civil Code (BGB) requires. Without such a reason any fixed term counts as open-ended — for a guaranteed minimum term, take the open-ended lease with a notice waiver. With the deposit rules of § 551 BGB, stepped or index-linked rent, the rent-cap disclosure and lawful decoration clauses. In German, to print and sign by hand.
Move-in record and inventory (Cyprus)
Cyprus · in Greek
The record a landlord and tenant in Cyprus sign when the home is handed over: the condition of each room, an inventory of furniture and equipment, the electricity and water meter readings, the keys, and the defects already there. Because a deposit in Cyprus is governed by the lease rather than by statute, this record is what decides at the end what is damage and what is ordinary wear. Photographs taken the same day complete it.
Move-in handover record for a rented home (Romania)
Romania · in Romanian
The record made at move-in, when the landlord hands a Romanian rented home to the tenant: the condition of each room, the furnishings handed over, the electricity, gas, water and heating meter readings, the number of keys and any visible defects. It is an annex to the rental agreement and the main proof of the home's condition at the start — the one that decides, at move-out, what may be kept from the deposit.
Occasional lease agreement (najem okazjonalny) (Poland)
Poland · in Polish
A Polish occasional tenancy for an owner who is a private individual not in the business of letting flats: fixed term of at most 10 years, deposit of up to six months' rent. The agreement lists the three compulsory attachments, including the tenant's declaration submitting to enforcement and undertaking to vacate the flat — which must be a notarial deed; without it there is no occasional tenancy. The landlord reports the agreement to the tax office within 14 days.
Receipt for money paid between private individuals (Cyprus)
Why it matches: You are paying back a friend’s loan in cash in Cyprus and want proof that you paid.
Cyprus · in Greek
A receipt by which a private individual in Cyprus confirms receiving money from another: the sum in figures and words, what it is for, the date and method of payment, and whether it settles the whole debt or is a payment on account, with the balance left. Useful for repaying a loan, returning a deposit, selling an item or any cash payment, which otherwise leaves no trace. It is signed by the person receiving the money, and since 2026 needs no stamp duty.
Notice of ISTAT rent update (Italy)
Why it matches: Prices have risen and you want to apply the index clause in the lease.
Italy · in Italian
For a landlord in Italy who lets without the cedolare secca and whose lease has an indexation clause: the letter to the tenant applying the change in the ISTAT consumer-price index for blue- and white-collar households (FOI) at the share the lease sets, with the current rent, the new rent and the month from which it applies. A landlord who chose the cedolare secca may not ask for any update while the option lasts. Sent by registered post with proof of receipt, by PEC if the tenant has one, or by hand. In Italian.
Open-ended home lease (rental agreement) (Romania)
Romania · in Romanian
A Romanian residential tenancy between private individuals with no end date: rent, deposit, utilities, each side's obligations and a handover record. Either side may end it with at least 60 days' written notice, and the rent changes only by a signed addendum. It provides for registration with ANAF within 30 days (form C168), which makes it an enforcement title for the rent.
Sublease of a room in a shared flat (Austria)
Austria · in German
The agreement by which the main tenant of a flat in Austria sublets a room in the shared flat: the room and shared use of kitchen and bathroom, rent with a flat-rate charge for costs, the deposit under § 16b of the Austrian Tenancy Act (MRG), house rules and notice. It asks how far the MRG applies, because the subtenant's protection turns on it: under full or partial application the main tenant too can end the sublease only through the court, with the ground of § 30 Abs 2 Z 12 MRG, and under full application the sublet rent is capped (§ 26 MRG). Open-ended or with an end date. In German, to print and sign.
Room rental agreement (lease) (Poland)
Poland · in Polish
A Polish agreement for renting a single room in a flat whose other rooms are shared: which room, which common areas the tenant may use, the rent and what it covers, the deposit, the rules of living together and the notice period. With a room, disputes are usually about utilities and shared space, so the agreement has them written in rather than left for later.
Objection to a tax assessment (Cyprus)
Cyprus · in Greek
An objection to the Commissioner of Taxation against an assessment issued by Cyprus's Tax Department, under s. 20 of Law 4/1978: the notice of assessment, the extent of the objection, the grounds, the evidence and the request for revision. Since 1 January 2026 it is filed within 60 days of the date the assessment is issued, no longer by the end of the following month. It states whether the year's tax return has been filed or is filed with it and, for a partial objection, that the undisputed tax has been or is being paid. It is for taxes such as income tax and the special defence contribution; a VAT objection is a separate procedure, filed only through Tax For All (TFA).
Request for a tax clearance certificate (Cyprus)
Cyprus · in Greek
A request to Cyprus's Tax Department for a tax clearance certificate, asked for, for example, when bidding in a public tender or renewing a work permit. It gives the purpose and the date the certificate is needed by, states whether the tax returns have been filed and whether any tax is owed or paid in agreed instalments, and asks for any outstanding item to be notified in writing. The Department takes such requests by e-mail to its district offices; for VAT, the certificate is issued only through Tax For All (TFA).
Request to pay overdue tax in instalments (Cyprus)
Cyprus · in Greek
A request to Cyprus's Tax Department to pay overdue tax in monthly instalments: the debt, the number and amount of instalments you propose, the first payment and the reasons. It states whether every tax return has been filed, commits to paying current taxes on time, and asks for the exact amount owed and written confirmation of the schedule. gov.cy's page on instalment plans directs new plans to the Department by e-mail, so the document can also be sent as an attachment.
Application for a tax clearance certificate (Germany)
Germany · in German
Your application to the German tax office (Finanzamt) for a certificate on your tax affairs (Bescheinigung in Steuersachen), often called a tax clearance certificate — asked for in public tenders, for a restaurant licence and other trade permits, and by banks. It shows whether any tax is in arrears and whether returns have been filed, as at the day it is issued. The letter gives the tax number, the purpose and the date by which you need the certificate. No official form is required; post it or send it through ELSTER. In German.
Application to change a surname or first name (Austria)
Why it matches: You want to apply to the district authority or Magistrat for a change of surname or first name.
Austria · in German
Only for Austrian citizens, and for stateless people and refugees living in Austria: the written application for a change of name under Austria's Name Change Act (NÄG), to the district authority (Bezirkshauptmannschaft) or Magistrat where you live — in Vienna, municipal department MA 63: for the surname, the first name or both, with your details, the name you want and your reasons. In Austria, simply wishing for another surname is a ground of its own (§ 2(1) no. 11 NÄG). Returning to an earlier surname after a divorce is instead a declaration at the registry office. In German, ready to print and sign.
Commercial lease (Bulgaria)
Bulgaria · in Bulgarian
For a shop, a studio, a warehouse or an office. What sets it apart from a residential lease is purpose: the premises are taken for a particular activity, the permits for that activity are the tenant's, and any improvements the tenant makes have to be agreed in advance — otherwise they stay with the property and are not paid for. The contract settles all three separately.
Request for an employment certificate for nursery or kindergarten (Bulgaria)
Why it matches: Your kindergarten application came back because the employer’s certificate lacked a stamp or a reference number.
Bulgaria · in Bulgarian
In the admissions ranking for a nursery or kindergarten, working parents prove their employment with a certificate from the employer. It is most often sent back not over its content but over a missing formality. So this request spells out what the certificate must carry: the employer's company number, an outgoing reference number, a date, a signature and a stamp. File it early — the rankings have deadlines, the payroll office does not.
Application to sit a resit examination (Bulgaria)
Why it matches: The resit session is coming up and you need to apply before the deadline to be entered.
Bulgaria · in Bulgarian
Sitting a resit is applied for in advance and within the deadline — being entered on the examination record follows from an application, not from turning up in the hall. Give the subject, the examiner and the session exactly as they appear in the curriculum, because a mismatch is the commonest reason an application comes back. Check too whether a fee is payable.
Dispute of an unauthorised payment transaction (Bulgaria)
Why it matches: You want to dispute an unauthorised payment and ask your bank to refund the money.
Bulgaria · in Bulgarian
Where a payment was not made or authorised by you, tell the bank at once — delay shifts the risk onto you. The dispute describes the transaction by date, amount and payee, says where the card was at that moment, and asks for the money back. File it in writing with a reference number, even if you have already phoned the call centre.
