Hand it in at the school office, send it by PEC or upload it to the register where the school allows.
Formal demand and notice of default for unpaid invoices (Italy)
For a business or professional not paid by a business client in Italy: a letter in Italian listing the unpaid invoices, recalling the late-payment interest and the €40 owed under Legislative Decree 231/2002 without any request, setting a deadline to pay, and acting, as chosen, either as a formal notice under art. 1454 of the Italian Civil Code (at least 15 days, after which the contract is terminated by law) or as a notice of default that interrupts limitation. Sent by PEC to the company's address in INI-PEC, or by registered post.
Request to close a current account (Italy)
If you open an account with another bank in Italy, the new bank offers a free switching service that moves transfers and direct debits and closes the old account if you ask. This letter, in Italian under Italian law, is for closing the account only: it gives notice of withdrawal without penalty or charges (article 120-bis of the Italian Consolidated Banking Act), asks for linked cards and services to be closed, the balance transferred and a closing statement sent. Send it by registered post, by PEC or hand it in at the branch.

An Italian written report, in Italian, that anyone who hosts a non-EU foreign national or stateless person, or lets, lends or sells them a property, must file within 48 hours with the local public security authority – the Questura or police station, or the municipality where there is no police office – even for a relative or a few days (art. 7 of Italian legislative decree 286/1998). Many Questure and municipalities have their own free form, some online: use it where it exists. Hand it in against a stamped receipt, or send it by registered post or PEC.

For anyone in Italy who is owed money by a private person or a business – a loan not repaid, an unpaid invoice or fee – and wants to claim it formally before taking other steps. The letter, in Italian under Italian law, states where the debt comes from and the amount, sets a time limit in days from receipt, puts the debtor in default (article 1219 of the Italian Civil Code) and interrupts limitation. Send it by registered post with proof of receipt, or by PEC if the debtor has a PEC address.
Fee notice and request for payment (not an invoice) (Italy)
For professionals and self-employed workers in Italy asking to be paid before invoicing: the Italian fee notice (avviso di parcella) lists the work, the fee, any pension contribution, VAT and withholding tax, the total and the IBAN, and asks for payment by a date. It has no tax value and is not an invoice: anyone with a VAT number issues the electronic invoice through the Exchange System (SdI) on payment; anyone without one gives an occasional-work receipt. Sent by e-mail, PEC or registered post.

The letter states the notice or, within the child's first year, that none is due, and the last working day. Sent by hand, registered post or PEC. In Italian.

The ticket usually comes with the police body's own free form for naming the driver, which can be used instead. It must be sent within 60 days of service (art. 126-bis of the Italian Highway Code), by registered post, PEC or by hand, even if you appeal or the owner was driving.

Resignation letter for household staff (Italy)
For a domestic helper, carer or nanny leaving a job with a family in Italy. Hand it over and have the copy signed, or send it by registered post with proof of receipt. In Italian.
Demand to the employer to pay missing pension contributions (Italy)
An Italian letter, in Italian, from a current or former employee to an employer who does not appear to have paid INPS contributions for some periods: it gives the periods missing from the contributions statement, asks for the position to be put right within a deadline with proof of payment, and announces a report to INPS and the labour inspectorate. The statement can be checked free online on the INPS website or at a patronato (free help office). Send it by PEC to the company’s certified address or by registered post with proof of receipt.
Cancelling a gym membership or another subscription (Italy)
For anyone in Italy who wants to end a subscription – gym, swimming pool, magazine, online service – or stop it renewing: the letter gives notice at expiry, withdraws on the contract’s terms or, if a documented illness or injury prevents you from using the service, asks for termination because performance has become impossible (Articles 1463 and 1464 of the Italian Civil Code). Italy has no specific law on gyms: the contract and the Italian Consumer Code’s rules on unfair terms decide. Many providers state in the contract how to cancel. Send this Italian letter by PEC to the company’s certified address or by registered post with proof of receipt.
