Cancelling motor insurance (Germany)
Why it matches: You want to cancel your car insurance in Germany and switch to a cheaper insurer at the end of the year.
Germany · in German · for consumers
A letter cancelling your German motor insurance with your current insurer: at the end of the insurance year, early after a premium increase or a claim, or after buying a used vehicle whose policy passed to you (§ 96 of the German Insurance Contract Act, VVG). For all cover or for the comprehensive cover only, asking the insurer to confirm the end date and refund any unused premium. For most policies, a cancellation for 31 December must reach the insurer by 30 November. In German, ready to send.
Accident claim to the other driver's motor liability insurer (Germany)
Why it matches: Another driver crashed into your car in Germany and you want their insurer to pay for the damage.
Germany · in German
The first claim after a road accident someone else caused, sent straight to their German motor liability insurer: the date, time and place, the other vehicle's plate, your vehicle, what happened, the damage, the police and witnesses, the amount quantified so far and your IBAN, with a request to confirm liability in principle. Under § 115 of the German Insurance Contract Act (VVG) you have a direct claim against the insurer, and you must notify it in text form within two weeks (§ 119 VVG) — a letter or an e-mail will do. In German.
Claim notification to your own motor insurer (Germany)
Why it matches: You had a car accident in Germany and need to report it to your own motor insurer.
Germany · in German
Reporting a loss to your own German motor insurer: to the liability cover when someone else may claim against you, or to the partial or comprehensive cover (Teilkasko, Vollkasko) for damage to your own vehicle. With the policy number and plate, the date, time and place, who was driving, anyone else involved, what happened, the damage, the police and witnesses, and a question whether the insurer wants to inspect the vehicle before repair. The model motor insurance terms (AKB) ask for notice within one week; your own policy's terms govern. In German.
Vehicle handover record for the buyer (Cyprus)
Why it matches: You have sold your car in Cyprus and want proof of the exact time the buyer took it.
Cyprus · in Greek
The record of exactly when the buyer took the vehicle: date and hour, mileage, fuel, keys, documents, accessories and condition. In Cyprus the transfer at the Road Transport Department, on form TOM 9Γ, can come days after handover, and until then the seller remains the registered owner, to whom camera fines are sent. The record proves who had the vehicle and from when the buyer bears it, and records the buyer's insurance and the deadline for the transfer.
Claim to the at-fault driver's insurer (Greece)
Why it matches: Another driver hit your car in Greece and you want their insurer to pay for the damage.
Greece · in Greek
The claim in which someone who suffered loss in a road accident in Greece asks for compensation directly from the insurer of the vehicle at fault, without going through its driver: the injured party has a direct claim against the insurer (Presidential Decree 237/1986), and the insurer owes a reasoned offer, or a reasoned reply, within three months of the claim. It sets out the accident, the at-fault vehicle and its policy, what happened, the damage, the amount, availability for inspection and the IBAN. Remember, too, to notify your own insurer within eight days.
Claim against the at-fault driver's motor insurer (Romania)
Why it matches: Another driver hit your car in Romania and you want their RCA insurer to pay for the damage.
Romania · in Romanian
The claim in which someone who suffered loss in a road accident in Romania asks for compensation directly from the RCA insurer of the vehicle at fault, without going through its driver (Law no. 132/2017): the date, place and course of the accident, the at-fault policy, the damaged vehicle and the loss, the documents attached and the account for payment.
Notice to the motor insurer that a vehicle has been sold (Romania)
Why it matches: You have sold your car in Romania and want to tell your motor insurer that the RCA policy should end.
Romania · in Romanian · for sellers
The notice in which a seller tells their motor (RCA) insurer in Romania that the vehicle has been sold. A Romanian RCA policy does not pass to the buyer: the seller's contract ends on notification, and the premium for the remaining period is refunded if no compensation has been paid or is owed under the policy. The letter identifies the policy and the vehicle, gives the date of sale and the new owner, and asks for the refund to the account given.
Claim against the at-fault driver's motor insurer (Poland)
Why it matches: Another driver crashed into your car in Poland and you want to claim from their insurer.
Poland · in Polish

It reminds the insurer that compensation is paid within 30 days of the claim, and filing the claim interrupts the limitation period.
At-fault driver's statement after a collision (Poland)
Why it matches: You had a minor bump with another car in Poland, nobody was hurt and you do not want to call the police.
Poland · in Polish
A statement written at the scene of a minor collision in Poland where nobody was hurt: the date, time and place, the at-fault driver's details and licence, their vehicle and OC policy, the other driver and vehicle, what happened, visible damage, witnesses, room for a sketch, and the admission of fault. Notification of a claim event to the insurer (Bulgaria)
Why it matches: Your car, home or belongings in Bulgaria have been damaged and you need to tell your insurer in writing.
Bulgaria · in Bulgarian
Written, dated notification of a loss. Insurers work with claim forms of their own, but filing those often drags — with this notice the date of notification is on record from the day you gave it. It describes the event and the property damaged, lists the documents drawn up, and says when an inspection can be carried out.
Objection to the insurer about the amount of a settlement (Bulgaria)
Why it matches: The garage quote for your car is well above the amount the insurer is offering.
Bulgaria · in Bulgarian
For when the settlement offered falls short of what the repair actually costs. The objection identifies the claim, the figure you are objecting to, and the ground — a garage quotation, an independent valuation, items left out of the schedule. It also asks for a copy of the expert assessment the insurer relied on, since without it there is no way to contest a particular item.
