Fixed-term employment contract (Greece)
Why it matches: You are hiring someone to stand in for an employee on leave until they come back.
Greece · in Greek
A Greek employment contract with an end date, carrying the same essential terms as the open-ended one and what sets it apart: the term, the objective reason for the fixed term and the end without notice. The reason matters: successive fixed-term contracts without an objective reason that run past three years in total are presumed to meet permanent needs and become open-ended (Presidential Decree 81/2003). The ERGANI II steps for hiring are included.

Why it matches: An employee already in post is moving to a role with access to sensitive information about your business.
France · in French
A confidentiality agreement signed by an employer and an employee in mainland France or an overseas department other than Mayotte, on hiring or during the contract: it defines confidential information, forbids disclosing or using it outside work, during the contract and for a chosen period after it ends, and provides for documents to be returned. It also protects trade secrets (articles L. 151-1 et seq. of the French Commercial Code). It contains no non-compete clause and preserves the rights of whistleblowers and staff representatives. Signed in two originals. In French.
Parental leave request to the employer (Cyprus)
Why it matches: You want to ask your employer in writing for parental leave, with the dates and the leave already taken.
Cyprus · in Greek · for employees
A working parent's written request to the employer in Cyprus for parental leave under Law 216(I)/2022: the child, the dates, the length and the leave already taken, with room for the employer's reply. After six months' service the Law gives up to 18 weeks for each child until the child turns 15 (21 with a disability), from one day to five weeks a year (seven with three or more children), on a request made at least three weeks before the start. Social Insurance Services pay a benefit for part of the leave, eight weeks for the first child and more for later children, on the parent's own separate claim.

Why it matches: You are ill, your doctor has signed you off work in Romania and you need to tell your employer.
Romania · in Romanian · for employees

The rules implementing Emergency Ordinance no. 158/2005 require the employer to be told within 24 hours of the leave being granted. It also announces that the certificate will be handed in by the 5th of the following month, for the benefit to be worked out. A breach gives rise to damages.

Why it matches: You need someone to cover for an employee on parental leave or long sick leave.
Romania · in Romanian
A Romanian fixed-term employment contract on the same framework model, with what sets it apart: the end date, the reason for the fixed term — one of the closed list of cases in art. 83 of the Labour Code — and the shorter probation art. 85 allows. It cannot run for more than 36 months, and the same parties may sign at most three such contracts in succession.

Why it matches: You are ill and cannot go to work in Poland, and you need to tell your employer straight away.

The notice a Polish employee must give the employer promptly, and by the second day of absence at the latest: from when and until when the absence will last, the reason to underline — illness, caring for a child or family member, a closed nursery or school, or another — the document that will justify it, and a contact. An electronic sick note (e-ZLA) reaches the employer on its own, but does not replace this notice.

Since 1 April 2023 (Spanish Royal Decree 1060/2022) the employee no longer hands in a copy of the sick note: the INSS, Spain's social security institute, sends its details to the employer electronically. The letter only reports the absence, its start date and, if wished, the estimated length, never the diagnosis. Hand it over against a signed receipt, send it by certified post or burofax, or use the channel set by the collective agreement. It holds health data, so it is sold blank and filled in by hand.

It is for cases where the collective agreement or the company asks for written notice and offers no portal of its own.
