The PDF you download is in Greek — that is the language it has to be filed in, so it is not translated. Everything on this page is here to tell you what it says.

The complaint to the organiser of a package holiday bought in Greece when the services were not those agreed — accommodation, flights, transfers, meals, excursions. It sets out the booking, the travellers, what was wrong and when and to whom it was reported on the spot, and claims a price reduction, compensation and the costs the traveller paid to put right a fault the organiser did not fix within the reasonable time it was given (Presidential Decree 7/2018). The organiser answers for every service in the package, even those provided by others.

Common questions

Who is liable in Greece when a package holiday's hotel is not the one agreed?
The package organiser, for every travel service in the contract, whether the organiser provides it or others do, such as the hotel or the airline (Presidential Decree 7/2018). The traveller is entitled to an appropriate price reduction for the time the problem lasted and compensation for the loss, with few exceptions, such as when the problem is down to the traveller or to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
What can the traveller do if a Greek package organiser does not fix the problem on the spot?
Set the organiser a reasonable time to put it right. If the organiser does not do so in that time, the traveller may put it right by their own means — moving to an equivalent hotel, for example — and claim the necessary costs (Presidential Decree 7/2018). Receipts, photographs and messages to the local representative are kept and attached to the complaint.
Why must a problem on a Greek package holiday be reported during the trip?
The traveller tells the organiser of any problem without undue delay, so that it can be put right on the spot (Presidential Decree 7/2018). A problem raised for the first time after coming home is harder to prove and may reduce the price cut or the compensation. The complaint records when and to whom it was reported.
