- Private car sale agreement (Greece)A Greek private agreement for selling a used car between individuals, written for the rule that applies now: the agreement does not transfer the car. Ownership passes with the digital transfer on gov.gr, the only route between private persons since 27 April 2026. So it binds the seller to start the transfer and the buyer to accept it by a set date and within 30 days of handover, before the seller's insurance lapses, and puts fines on the buyer from handover. It gives the price in words, the known defects and the two-year limitation period of art. 554 of the Greek Civil Code, and can be signed online on docs.gov.gr.
- Fixed-term residential lease (Greece)A Greek residential lease between private individuals for a fixed term: the property, the rent and its yearly adjustment, the deposit, running costs, each side's duties and the move-in and move-out records. It reflects the three-year minimum Greek law (Law 1703/1987) sets for a home let as a main residence, gives the tenant an early-exit clause the law otherwise does not, in which the landlord gives up rent for the rest of the term, has the landlord declare the lease to the tax authority (ΑΑΔΕ, through myAADE) by both parties' tax numbers, and sends the rent only to the landlord's bank account, as Law 5222/2025 will require (from 1 July 2027, under the tax authority's latest decision).
- IKE partners' resolution approving the closing liquidation balance sheet (Greece)The minutes by which the partners of a Greek private company (IKE) in liquidation approve the closing balance sheet and the liquidator's work, decide how what remains is shared, discharge the liquidator, name who keeps the books and ask for the company to be struck off. Without this approval the IKE is not deleted from GEMI, the Greek business register. It is taken at a meeting called on 8 days' notice or in minutes signed by every partner.
- Move-in handover record and inventory for a rented home (Greece)The record a landlord and tenant in Greece sign when the home is handed over: the condition of each room, an inventory of furniture and equipment, the electricity, water, gas and heating meter readings, the keys, and any defects already there. It is attached to the lease and is the main proof of the starting condition: the home is compared with it at move-out to decide what is ordinary wear and what may be kept from the deposit.
- Fixed-term employment contract (Greece)A Greek employment contract with an end date, carrying the same essential terms as the open-ended one and what sets it apart: the term, the objective reason for the fixed term and the end without notice. The reason matters: successive fixed-term contracts without an objective reason that run past three years in total are presumed to meet permanent needs and become open-ended (Presidential Decree 81/2003). The ERGANI II steps for hiring are included.
- Out-of-court demand for the return of a rental deposit (Greece)The out-of-court demand (εξώδικη πρόσκληση) by which a former tenant in Greece asks the landlord to return the deposit. The law sets neither the amount nor a deadline — the lease does — and the landlord's claims for damage lapse six months after the home is handed back (Article 602 of the Greek Civil Code). The demand gives ten days, puts the landlord in default, and is served by a court bailiff, so the report of service proves its content and date before a payment order is sought.
- Move-out record on returning a rented home (Greece)The record a landlord and tenant in Greece sign when the lease ends and the home is handed back: its condition, damage beyond ordinary wear, meter readings, keys, and the settlement of the deposit — how much is kept, why, and when the rest is returned. The landlord's claims for damage lapse six months after taking the home back (Article 602 of the Greek Civil Code), so the record's date and contents carry real weight.
- IKE partners' resolution appointing and removing the manager (Greece)The minutes by which the partners of a Greek private company (IKE) appoint a new manager (diacheiristis) and, where needed, remove the previous one: the manager's details with father's name and AFM, term, pay, any special rules on their powers, the signature accepting the role and authority to file with GEMI. The manager must be an individual, partner or not, and is appointed by a majority of all the shares, at a meeting called on 8 days' notice or in minutes signed by every partner.
- Complaint to an electricity or gas supplier (Greece)The written complaint to an electricity or gas supplier in Greece, with what it needs to be dealt with: the supply and customer numbers, the meter and its actual reading, the disputed bill, what is wrong and what is asked for. The same complaint must also be lodged on MyRAE, the platform of the regulator ΡΑΑΕΥ (RAAEY): without that, the Greek Energy Mediator will not hear the dispute. The Mediator covers electricity and gas only, not water.
- Loan agreement between private individuals (Greece)A Greek private agreement for a loan of money between private persons — relatives, friends, acquaintances: the parties with their AFM tax numbers, the sum in figures and words, how it is paid out, a fixed repayment day or instalments, interest and default interest. The rate is set against the ceiling for loans outside banks (7.90% a year from 16 September 2026), and the 3.6% digital transaction duty is placed on the borrower, payable to the Greek tax authority (AADE) by the end of the following month. Signed by both, it is the document a payment order runs on.
- Revocation of an authorisation or power of attorney (Greece)The out-of-court notice (εξώδικη δήλωση) by which someone in Greece revokes an authorisation or power of attorney they gave: it describes the authority, revokes it from service, asks for the original back and an account, and names the third parties being told. Under the Greek Civil Code the authority ends on a revocation declared to the agent or the third party (arts. 218–219), so proof matters: a court bailiff (δικαστικός επιμελητής) serves it, and the report of service proves content and date. A notarial power of attorney is revoked only by notarial deed (art. 220); the notice is then served together with the notary's deed.
- Agreement ending an employment contract by mutual consent (Greece)The agreement by which a Greek employer and employee end the employment contract together on a date they choose: the last working day, the final settlement of pay, leave and bonuses, a lump sum if one is agreed, the return of equipment and the certificate of employment. No statute governs it: no form, reason or compensation is required, only a clear shared will — and the written agreement is what proves it when the end is declared in ERGANI II.
- Out-of-court demand for payment (Greece)The Greek εξώδικη δήλωση (out-of-court notice) in which a creditor calls on a debtor to pay an overdue debt — a loan, a price, a fee — within a deadline, with the sum, its cause, the document proving it and the account to pay into. A court bailiff serves it, and the bailiff's report of service proves what was said and when. Service puts the debtor in default (art. 340 of the Greek Civil Code) unless a fixed payment day already did, and announces the payment order, which since 1 May 2026 a lawyer issues on a document proving the claim.
- Request for copies of a medical file (Greece)The request by which a patient in Greece asks a hospital, clinic or doctor for copies of their medical file — history, discharge note, tests, imaging — under art. 14 of Law 3418/2005, the Greek Code of Medical Ethics, and art. 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation. It names the department and the period of treatment, the documents wanted and how to receive them. The first copy is free, as the Greek Data Protection Authority also points out, and the provider answers without delay, as a rule within a month.
- Complaint about a package holiday (Greece)The complaint to the organiser of a package holiday bought in Greece when the services were not those agreed — accommodation, flights, transfers, meals, excursions. It sets out the booking, the travellers, what was wrong and when and to whom it was reported on the spot, and claims a price reduction, compensation and the costs the traveller paid to put right a fault the organiser did not fix within the reasonable time it was given (Presidential Decree 7/2018). The organiser answers for every service in the package, even those provided by others.
- Notice of withdrawal from an online or off-premises purchase (Greece)The notice by which a consumer in Greece withdraws from a purchase made online, by phone or away from the shop, doorstep sales included, within 14 calendar days and without giving a reason (Law 2251/1994, art. 3ε). It goes further than the model form in the Act's annex: it identifies the order, asks for every payment back, standard delivery included, within 14 days, gives the IBAN for the refund and announces the return of the goods.
- Out-of-court demand for unpaid wages with withholding of work (Greece)The out-of-court notice (εξώδικη δήλωση) in which an employee in Greece calls on the employer to pay overdue wages and declares that work is withheld under art. 325 of the Greek Civil Code from a set date: the periods, the amount in words, the IBAN. While a lawful withholding lasts, the employer owes pay as if work continued. A court bailiff serves it, and the bailiff's report of service proves what was said and when — which is what counts at the Labour Inspectorate and in court.
- Flight delay or cancellation compensation claim (Greece)The claim to an airline for compensation under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 — 250, 400 or 600 euros per passenger, by distance — when a flight arrived three hours late or more, was cancelled without timely notice, or the passenger was denied boarding. It gives the flight and booking details, the other passengers, the expenses incurred and the IBAN, and asks for payment in money, not vouchers. It goes to the airline first; for flights from Greek airports, the next step is the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (ΑΠΑ), the Regulation's enforcement body.
- Request for access to public documents (Greece)The request by which anyone asks a Greek public service, municipality or public-law body to inspect or receive copies of specific documents. Since 1 January 2025, art. 5 of the Greek Code of Administrative Procedure, as replaced by art. 59 of Law 5143/2024, gives this right to every person with no interest to show, and the service answers within 20 days. The request names documents rather than asking questions, because a manifestly vague request needs no answer.
- Notice closing a bank account (Greece)The letter by which an account holder in Greece closes the account and ends the framework agreement with the bank: the account, the closing date, the account to receive the balance, cancelling cards, standing orders and direct debits, a pro-rata refund of fees paid in advance, and written confirmation. It rests on Law 4537/2018, which transposed the EU Payment Services Directive; the letter asks for closing on the date chosen or when the notice period in the contract ends, if that is later.
- Handover record for a sold vehicle (Greece)The record of the moment the buyer took the car: date and hour, odometer reading, fuel, keys, documents, accessories and condition. In Greece it matters more than elsewhere: handover can come days before the digital transfer on gov.gr, the transfer records no handover at all, and until it is done the seller remains the registered owner — and the one fines are sent to. The record proves who had the vehicle, and from when fines and damage are the buyer's — and handover starts the 30 days after which the seller's insurance ends.
- Copyright assignment or licence agreement (Greece)The agreement by which the author of a work — a design, text, photograph or software — assigns their economic right or grants a licence to use it, exclusive or not: which rights, in which ways, where, for how long, whether sublicences are allowed, the pay, how the author is credited and the warranties. Under art. 14 of Greek Law 2121/1993, an assignment or licence is void unless made in writing, and only the author may plead the nullity.
- Parent's authorisation for a minor's medical care by a carer (Greece)gov.gr issues solemn declarations and authorisations free; this document gives you the wording, to paste there, or to sign as a PDF and have the signature certified free on docs.gov.gr or at a citizen service centre (ΚΕΠ). It is DocMuse's own text, not the Greek state's form. With it a parent allows whoever looks after the child in their absence — a grandparent, a school-trip or camp leader — to take the child to the doctor, receive information and agree to routine medical care for a set period, with the child's health details. Under the Greek Code of Medical Ethics, consent for a minor is given by those with parental care.
- Contract for work or services between businesses (Greece)A contract between businesses in Greece for a piece of work or for services: what is and is not included, timing, the fee with e-invoicing, acceptance and objections, liability and its cap, copyright, termination. It states at the outset whether the contractor owes a result (a contract for work under art. 681 of the Greek Civil Code) or only careful performance of services — the choice that decides liability for defects. Late payment carries the interest and the €40 of Greek Law 4152/2013.
