The PDF you download is in Greek — that is the language it has to be filed in, so it is not translated. Everything on this page is here to tell you what it says.
The request in which a tenant in Greece asks for the landlord's written consent to sublet the home or part of it: to whom, which part and for how long. In Greece subletting is allowed unless the lease forbids it (Article 593 of the Greek Civil Code), but most leases forbid it without consent, and short-term letting through a platform always needs the owner's express consent, which is also marked in the lease declaration filed with the tax authority (ΑΑΔΕ). The landlord consents by signing on the same sheet.

Common questions
- Does subletting in Greece need the landlord's consent?
- Under Article 593 of the Civil Code, subletting is allowed unless the lease forbids it — the reverse of Poland and Romania. Most Greek leases, including the ones on this site, forbid it without the landlord's written consent, and then the request is needed. Subletting without the consent the lease requires is a breach of the lease.
- Can a tenant in Greece let the home short-term through a platform?
- Only with the owner's express consent, even where the lease does not forbid subletting in general. Under Law 4446/2016 (Article 111), that consent is marked in the lease declaration filed with the tax authority (ΑΑΔΕ), so the request also asks the landlord to file the amending declaration needed. For the tax duties of a tenant who lets short-term, ask an accountant.
- Who answers to the Greek landlord while the home is sublet?
- The tenant. Subletting does not change the lease: the tenant still owes the rent to the landlord and answers for how the home is used, including by the subtenant. The sublet cannot outlast the lease and ends with it at the latest, as the request also states.
