The PDF you download is in Greek — that is the language it has to be filed in, so it is not translated. Everything on this page is here to tell you what it says.
The agreement by which a Greek employer and employee set up telework, at hiring or as an amendment to the contract (art. 67 of Law 4808/2021): the pattern and place of telework, working hours and time recording, equipment and costs, the right to disconnect and the ban on camera monitoring. The law puts the cost of equipment, telecoms and repairs on the employer, unless use of the employee's own equipment is agreed, and wants the terms in writing within eight days.

Common questions
- Who pays for equipment and internet when teleworking in Greece?
- The employer: it bears the cost of equipment, telecoms and repairs, unless the parties agree that the employee's own equipment is used (art. 67 of Law 4808/2021). The agreement spells this out in a field for equipment and costs, because that is where most telework disputes begin.
- What does the Greek teleworker's right to disconnect mean?
- That outside working hours and during leave the teleworker may ignore work calls, messages and e-mails without being treated less favourably for it. It is a mandatory term of telework in Greece, as is the ban on monitoring the employee by camera.
- Within how many days must the telework terms be given in writing in Greece?
- Within eight days of the start of telework. Telework is agreed at hiring or later by amending the contract, and the signed agreement meets the duty to inform in writing. The employer also declares the telework and its hours in ERGANI II. The agreement can be signed free of charge and at a distance through the digital certification of a private agreement on docs.gov.gr.
