Claim for compensation for a cancelled or delayed flight or denied boarding (Italy)
Why it matches: Your flight from Italy was cancelled at the last minute and you arrived a day late.
For a passenger whose flight was cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice, arrived three hours or more late, or who was denied boarding: you ask the airline that operated the flight for 250, 400 or 600 € per person, depending on distance (EU Regulation 261/2004), unless there were extraordinary circumstances. It covers flights leaving an EU airport and flights into the EU on a European airline. Many airlines offer a free online form; with no answer within six weeks, a complaint to Italy’s civil aviation authority ENAC is free and online. This Italian letter goes by registered post with proof of receipt, or by PEC if the airline has a certified address.
Flight delay or cancellation compensation demand (Cyprus)
Why it matches: Your flight to Cyprus was cancelled at the last minute or you were refused boarding.
A passenger's written demand to an airline for the compensation of Regulation (EC) 261/2004, €250, €400 or €600 depending on distance, when a flight from Cyprus, or to Cyprus with a European airline, arrived three hours or more late, was cancelled without timely notice, or the passenger was denied boarding. It also claims meals, hotel or transport costs, asks for cash rather than vouchers, and warns of a complaint to the Department of Civil Aviation.
Flight delay or cancellation compensation claim (Greece)
Why it matches: The airline cancelled your flight at the last minute and offered you only a voucher.
The claim to an airline for compensation under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 — 250, 400 or 600 euros per passenger, by distance — when a flight arrived three hours late or more, was cancelled without timely notice, or the passenger was denied boarding. It gives the flight and booking details, the other passengers, the expenses incurred and the IBAN, and asks for payment in money, not vouchers. It goes to the airline first; for flights from Greek airports, the next step is the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (ΑΠΑ), the Regulation's enforcement body.

Why it matches: The airline cancelled your flight shortly before departure and offered you nothing.

You ask the airline for the flat-rate compensation of €250, €400 or €600 per passenger under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004, and for your expenses. Without a satisfactory answer, mediation has been compulsory before going to a French court since 7 February 2026. The airline's online form works too. In French.
Claim for compensation for a delayed or cancelled flight or denied boarding (Spain)
Why it matches: The airline cancelled your flight the day before you travelled and offers no compensation.
For a person on a flight that arrived three hours or more late, was cancelled at short notice or on which boarding was denied: the letter claims from the airline the €250, €400 or €600 compensation under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 for each passenger on the booking, and invites it to negotiate as Spanish Organic Law 1/2025 requires before suing. If the airline does not answer within a month or refuses, a complaint to AESA, Spain's aviation safety agency, is free and its decision binds the airline. Send it by burofax or through the airline's complaint form. In Spanish.

It reminds the airline that only extraordinary circumstances, which it must prove, release it.

Why it matches: The airline cancelled your flight at short notice and you had to pay for a hotel and meals.
The claim letter to the airline when your flight reached its destination at least three hours late, was cancelled at short notice, or you were denied boarding: you claim compensation of €250, €400 or €600 per passenger under Article 7 of Regulation (EC) No 261/2004, plus costs you paid for meals and accommodation, with a payment deadline and your account. If the airline does not answer, or answers unsatisfactorily, within six weeks, Austria's Agency for Passenger Rights (apf) helps free of charge; this letter is the first step there. In German.
Complaint to a package holiday organiser (Cyprus)
Why it matches: A flight or excursion in your package was cancelled or changed and you had to pay extra yourself.
A traveller's written claim against the organiser of a package holiday bought in Cyprus when the services were not as agreed: the hotel, flights, transfers or excursions. It relies on Law 186(I)/2017, under which the organiser answers for every service in the package, records the failures and when they were reported on the spot, and asks for a price reduction, compensation and the traveller's own costs, before the Consumer Protection Service.

Why it matches: The tour operator cancelled excursions and transfers without offering anything else.

Defects must be reported promptly during the trip, to the organiser or the travel agency; damages are claimed within three years of returning. Italian chambers of commerce publish free guides on package travel. Send this Italian letter by PEC to the organiser’s certified address or by registered post with proof of receipt.
Complaint after a package holiday (France)
Why it matches: Transfers or excursions were cancelled and you had already reported the problems on the spot.
For a traveller whose package holiday (flight and hotel, tour, resort) bought in France did not go as planned: a different hotel, missing services, cancelled transfers. The organiser and the retailer are strictly liable for performance of the package (Article L. 211-16 of the French Tourism Code); you ask for a price reduction for the period of non-conformity and damages (Article L. 211-17). The letter states whether you reported the problems on the spot. In French, to send by registered post with proof of receipt after your return.
Complaint about a package holiday (Greece)
Why it matches: Flights, transfers, meals or excursions on your package trip were not what had been agreed.

The organiser answers for every service in the package, even those provided by others.
Power of attorney to deregister or register a motor vehicle (Austria)
Why it matches: You sold your car in Austria and want the buyer to deregister it for you.
The written power of attorney that lets another person — the buyer of your car, for instance — act for you at an Austrian registration office run by a motor insurer: to deregister the car and hand back the Zulassungsschein and plates, with or without reserving the number, to register it in your name, or to deposit papers and plates under § 52 of the Austrian Motor Vehicles Act (KFG). With both people's details, the vehicle's chassis number and plate, and a period of validity. The same in every Land. Deregistration itself is free. In German, ready to print and sign by hand.
Exercising the GDPR rights of access, erasure or objection (Spain)
Why it matches: You closed an account years ago and want the company to delete everything it still keeps.
The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) publishes free forms for exercising these rights: you do not need DocMuse for it. This Spanish letter, in Spanish, is for anyone who wants to know what personal data a company or body in Spain holds about them, have it erased or stop its use. It exercises, before the data controller, the right of access (Article 15 GDPR), erasure (Article 17) or objection (Article 21), as you choose, names the data and the reason, and recalls the one-month deadline and that it is free. Send it by burofax, certified post or by hand, or to the e-mail address in the privacy notice.
Cancelling a standing order or direct debit (Cyprus)
Why it matches: You want to tell your bank and the payee in writing that you are cancelling a direct debit.
A written cancellation, sent to a bank in Cyprus, of a standing order or a direct debit from your account. It names the account, the payee and the mandate or reference number, asks that nothing be debited from the date you set and that the cancellation be confirmed in writing, and is copied to the payee, because a direct debit mandate is cancelled with the payee too. An authorised direct debit can be refunded if asked within 8 weeks, and an unauthorised one within 13 months.
Resolution to apply to strike off a dormant company (Cyprus)
Why it matches: Your company in Cyprus has had no activity for a long time and you want it struck off.

The Registrar publishes the coming strike-off in the Official Gazette, and the company is struck off three months later if no one objects. A company with assets or debts needs a liquidation by a licensed insolvency practitioner instead.
Request for removal from a bad-debtor file (Spain)
For someone listed in Spain in a bad-debtor file such as ASNEF or Experian for a debt that is paid, does not exist, is disputed, was never notified, is over five years old or is under fifty euros. The letter exercises the right to erasure against the company running the file, asks for processing to be restricted while it checks, and points out the one-month deadline to answer (article 20 of Spain's data protection act, LOPDGDD, and articles 12 to 19 GDPR); a copy goes to the creditor. Exercising these rights is free, and the AEPD offers its own model forms. Send it by burofax or through the file's written channel. In Spanish.
Cancellation of a direct debit mandate (SEPA) (Spain)
Why it matches: You want letters to the bank and to the company cancelling a direct debit in Spain.
For someone with an account in Spain who wants a company or a person to stop taking payments from it. Two letters: to the bank, revoking that creditor's direct debit mandate (SEPA mandate) so that no further debits are paid; and to the creditor, telling them so and saying how payment will be made from now on, or why the charges are disputed. The revocation applies to debits due after the business day on which the bank receives it (article 52 of Spain's Royal Decree-Law 19/2018). Send them by burofax, by hand against a signed copy or by registered post. In Spanish.
Cancelling a gym membership or another subscription (Italy)
Why it matches: The gym will not accept cancellation by phone and wants it in writing.
For anyone in Italy who wants to end a subscription – gym, swimming pool, magazine, online service – or stop it renewing: the letter gives notice at expiry, withdraws on the contract’s terms or, if a documented illness or injury prevents you from using the service, asks for termination because performance has become impossible (Articles 1463 and 1464 of the Italian Civil Code). Italy has no specific law on gyms: the contract and the Italian Consumer Code’s rules on unfair terms decide. Many providers state in the contract how to cancel. Send this Italian letter by PEC to the company’s certified address or by registered post with proof of receipt.
Notice cancelling an insurance policy (Italy)
Why it matches: You want to send the insurer a cancellation that proves the date it was received.
For anyone in Italy who wants to end an insurance policy – home, accident, liability, health – at expiry so that it does not renew tacitly, or to withdraw from a policy lasting more than five years once five years have passed (Article 1899 of the Italian Civil Code). The notice period is the one the policy sets and counts from receipt of the letter. Motor liability insurance, by contrast, needs no notice: it never renews tacitly. Many insurers also accept cancellation free of charge from the customer area or through the agent. Send this Italian letter by PEC to the insurer’s certified address or by registered post with proof of receipt.
Subscription cancellation letter: loi Chatel or legitimate reason (France)
Why it matches: You want to cancel your gym membership or a magazine subscription in France.
For a subscriber to a gym, magazine, streaming service or club in France who wants to stop. For a subscription taken out online, the 'cancel' button is often quicker. In French, to send by registered post with proof of receipt.
Insurance cancellation letter: home, car, health, loan cover (France)
Why it matches: You want to cancel your supplementary health insurance in France after its first year.
For a private policyholder in France who wants to leave an insurer or mutual insurer. After a year, car insurance and a tenant's home insurance are cancelled by the new insurer, and a policy taken out online can also be cancelled online. This letter offers, as you choose: cancellation at any time, after a year, of another policy, such as supplementary health cover, effective one month after receipt (Article L. 113-15-2 of the French Insurance Code; Article L. 221-10-2 of the Mutual Insurance Code); cancellation at the annual renewal date; or cancellation of loan insurance at any time, with the lender's approval of the new policy (loi Lemoine). In French.

An authorised SEPA direct debit is refunded within eight weeks with no reason needed (§§ 70, 71 of the Austrian Payment Services Act, ZaDiG 2018), an unauthorised one within 13 months (§ 65 ZaDiG 2018). With payee, mandate reference, amount and date. In German.
